At Ballet Melange, we are committed not only to artistic excellence on stage but also to our dancers continued professional growth.
In addition to participating in multiple productions each year, Ballet Melange Trainees receive rigorous and rewarding training led by a distinguished faculty of renowned professionals. With expertise spanning classical, contemporary, character, and historical dance, our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and strong industry connections to support our company's development.
Our Trainee program extends beyond technique, we focus on nurturing each dancer's unique potential. Our Trainees benefit from personalized mentorship, audition preparation, resume building, and frequent performance opportunities, all designed to provide tools, confidence, and experience to succeed in a competitive field.
Tuition is $725 per month. All male dancers accepted into the program are eligible for a training stipend. Please contact us at admin@balletmelange.org for more information.
Program Overview

Pre-professional training program designed for dedicated dancers pursuing serious classical ballet training.

Combines rigorous technique development with extensive performance experience.

Trainees train and perform as an integral part of Ballet Melange’s productions and outreach initiatives.

Season runs August 17, 2026 – May 30, 2027.

Thanksgiving Week

Winter Break (December 21, 2026 – January 3, 2027)

Spring Break (March 29, 2027 – April 5, 2027)

Additional Denver Public Schools holidays (subject to Artistic Director approval).

Weekly Training Schedule
Trainees commit to an intensive weekly schedule:

Monday: 1:00–8:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Tuesday: 11:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Wednesday: 1:00–6:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Thursday: 11:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Friday: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM (30-minute lunch + 90-minute break)

Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Training supports Ballet Melange’s classical foundation and performance-driven philosophy.

Early withdrawal requires payment of 50% of the remaining contract balance.
